FEB-WHEW-ARY!

What a month! From blizzards to trial runs to spring break prep... February has kept me on my toes, but the increasingly longer days are shining a light on the progress I’ve made, and I’m happy to share a few cool updates with you!

I recently returned from a trip to a NY dairy facility that ran a test production of my ice cream, and I have to say…it was thrilling and chilly! Not only was I happy with the results, but I also got to FINALLY experience my first blizzard in years. Yep – I typically transform into an excited child at the first sight of a snowflake. And when you add ICE CREAM to the picture?


It’s good to be reminded that sometimes the solutions to life’s obstacles – including running out of freezer space - can be found in your own backyard!

Since returning from the trial run, I have spent my days chasing friends, family, neighbors, and strangers around with a spoon in an attempt to gather feedback. Fortunately, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Kids are actually running towards their mothers instead of away from them when they are offered Fruits & Veggies. 😉 I even received feedback from the dairy facility running the test production, and they were SOLD on the SWEET POTATO ICE CREAM and BUTTERNUT SQUASH ICE CREAM flavors, despite preconceived notions. Nothing like trying out cool new things!

SPRINGING AHEAD!


Is there anything better than Spring in Manhattan? As a busy mother of three kids under the age of 5, I’m anticipating the heightened energy that accompanies sunnier, warmer, longer days, and gearing up for long spring breaks. If you could see my wine reserves, you’d think I’m preparing for Armageddon.



Which is one of the reasons I’m looking sooooo forward to FARMERS MARKET season in NY. Stepping out, breathing in the fresh air, enjoying fresh fruits and veggies, and getting inspired.
